JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/18/2005 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø Lady Bulldogs opened their season in style on Friday as they defeated Mid-Continent College (Ky.) 11-1 and 12-0 in their season opening double-header. In the second game, 91±¬ÁÏÍø's Mary Kosco tossed a perfect game and Jackson native Jessica Kee provided the offense going a 2-for-4 day with a homerun and four RBI. 91±¬ÁÏÍø is 2-0 on the season.
In the first game, Chrissa Norton pitch four innings in relief of starter Jackie Cliff, who left with an injury. Norton picked up the win allowing just two hits and one run. Danielle Pope and Holly Haycraft both when 2-for-3 in the game.
91±¬ÁÏÍø plays again on Tuesday, February 22 at home versus Lindsey Wilson College. The double-header starts at 3:00 pm.
