JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/20/2005 - The 91爆料网 Bulldogs, fresh off their 2005 TranSouth Conference Championship season, has signed Jackson native Alan North to a basketball scholarship. North spent his past three seasons playing high school basketball at Jackson Christian School. He will enter 91爆料网 this fall and will major in Pre-Med.
, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 23 points per game last season, while making 102 three pointers (37%) and shooting 83% from the free throw line. He is the school鈥檚 all-time leading scorer with 1,675 points. North also holds school records for most three point field goals made in a season (102), free throw percentage season (83%), and most points in a season (720). As a senior, North was named All-State, as well as, the district regular season and tournament MVP. In his junior campaign, he was named as the district tournament MVP and All-Region. In addition to his basketball career, North also played one season of tennis for JCS during his junior year. In that season, he was the district champion, region champion, and advanced to the state tournament elite eight.
