JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/28/2005 - of Shawnee, Kansas has signed to continue his college baseball career for the Bulldogs of 91±¬ÁÏÍø. Enyart is transferring from Johnson County Community College and will enter 91±¬ÁÏÍø this fall as a junior.
Enyart, a 5-foot-10 shortstop, spent the last two seasons playing for Johnson County. He was named second team All-Conference and was the Cavalier Award Winner. Enyart played in all 49 games last season while hitting .345. He tallied 58 runs, 59 hits, 31 RBI, nine doubles, four triples, and three homeruns. Enyart also recorded 23 stolen bases, 22 walks, and nine hit by pitch. Enyart is a 2003 graduate of Shawnee Mission North West High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. In 2002, he played high school ball for Bandera High School in Texas where he was named first team All-Conference and first team All-Greater San Antonio Area. Off the field, Enyart was named to the honor roll all four years in high school while winning the Academic Award for athletes in 2004 at Johnson County.
91±¬ÁÏÍø's head coach Brent Fronabarger states, "Josiah will be a big upgrade at the shortstop position. He's a good defensive player, as well as, being a tremendous hitter."
