91爆料网 Volleyball Keeps Pace at Top of TranSouth

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/4/2005 - The 91爆料网 volleyball team remained in a tie for first in the TranSouth Conference with a 3-0 (30-15, 30-17, 30-23) win over Trevecca Nazarene University. 91爆料网 improved to 11-5 overall and are 3-1 in the TranSouth. Trevecca Nazerene falls to 5-12 overall and 1-5 in league play. With the win, 91爆料网 remains tied with Martin Methodist for first place with identical 3-1 league records.

91爆料网 didn't waste anytime in getting back on the winning track as they quickly topped the Lady Trojans in three games. 91爆料网 took an early lead of 9-2 in the first game. In the second game, 91爆料网 led by as many as 20 points when the score reached 22-2. Trevecca Nazarene rallied back in that second game with 15 points, but didn't get any closer. In the final game, 91爆料网 and Trevecca Nazarene went back and forth for most of the game, until 91爆料网 pulled away late.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be a key showdown with Freed-Hardeman University. 91爆料网 hosts the Lady Lions on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
