91±¬ÁÏÍø Men Stay Perfect with Another Road Win Over a Ranked Opponent

JACKSON, Tenn. - 11/29/2005 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø Bulldogs improved to 9-0 on the season with another win over and NAIA ranked opponent. The NAIA No. 6 ranked Bulldogs travelled to No. 11 Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) and came away victorious with a 66-64 win. For Lindsey Wilson, this was their first loss of the season as they now sit at 5-1 overall.

91±¬ÁÏÍø led 34-30 at halftime, however gave up the lead as Lindsey Wilson came out on 7-2 run to start the period. It remained close for the rest of the game with Lindsey Wilson holding a slight lead for most of the second half. 91±¬ÁÏÍø trailed 64-61 with one minute remaining and that's when senior transfer Kinley Sellers naile his only basket of the night as his well timed three pointer tied the game. The game remained tied at 64-64 until 91±¬ÁÏÍø's Mack Bealim made a basket and was fould in the final few seconds. He would miss his free thow but the 91±¬ÁÏÍø had the win 66-64 win.

91±¬ÁÏÍø was led by Ben Frederick who played a lot of minutes as 91±¬ÁÏÍø was without fellow big man Pierry Valmera who was out with an ankle injury. Mack Bealim scored 23 points for 91±¬ÁÏÍø.

91±¬ÁÏÍø continues their stretch of four straight road games versus ranked teams before Christimas. Up next for 91±¬ÁÏÍø will be a trip to Houston, Texas to play No. 10 LSU-Shreveport on Friday and No. 10 Houston Baptist on Saturday. Then on Dec. 17, 91±¬ÁÏÍø travels to No. 13 Oklahoma City.
