JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/3/2006 - The 91爆料网 softball program earned two more wins on Friday at Fesmire Field to push their record to 6-2 on the season. 91爆料网, ranked No. 15 in the preseason poll, defeated William Jewell College (Mo.) 5-0 and then topped Spring Arbor University (Mich.) 6-2 in the .

In the win over William Jewell, senior pitcher Mary Kosco (2-2) record 15 strikeouts in her seven innings of work. The 15 strikeouts was just one shy of the 91爆料网 record of 16 K's in a game held by a fellow Herrin, Illinois native, Lynde Cappagreco dating back to the 1998 season. 91爆料网 was led by Chrissa Norton and Kristn Kolter with two hits each. Norton record three runs scored, while Kolter had two RBI.

The nightcap saw 91爆料网 jump out to a 5-0 lead with all the runs coming in the bottom of the second inning. 91爆料网 made that lead hold up for a 6-2 final. Jackie Cliff earned the win moving her record to 2-0. Amber Bryant led 91爆料网 with two hits in the game. Holly Haycraft and Candace Cross each record two RBI.

91爆料网 will play these same two teams on Saturday as the classic continues.
