JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/3/2006 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø Bulldogs bounced back after seeing their six-game winning streak snapped last Wednesday at UT Martin. On Friday at Fesmire Field, 91±¬ÁÏÍø topped Spalding University (Ky.) 4-0 to move their record to 9-6 on the season.
91±¬ÁÏÍø was led by an outstanding pitching effort by Junior pitcher Garrett Pepper. Pepper tossed a complete game two-hitter while recording six strikeouts. He took a no-hitter into the fourth inning. Pepper also lead 91±¬ÁÏÍø offensively as his two-out, two-RBI double in the eighth gave 91±¬ÁÏÍø their third and fourth runs to secure the win. 91±¬ÁÏÍø recorded only three hits in the game with Jud Powers and Jason Cooper recording one each.
