91爆料网's Powers Named All-Region Baseball

JACKSON, Tenn. - 5/23/2006 - , a former Humboldt High School Standout, was named to the NAIA Region XI All-Region team. This honor comes just after Powers was named as a first team All-Conference performer.

Powers, a 6-foot-2 190 lb. outfielder, helped 91爆料网 to a third place finish in the TranSouth Conference regular season standings, as well as, a birth in their first NAIA Region XI Tournament since 2002. Powers was tops on 91爆料网's team in average (.365), hits (81), double (14), triples (5), homeruns (9), and RBI (61). He also posted a team high .595 slugging percentage and also was on base at a .425 clip.
