JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/2/2006 - Bryan Wagner, of Phoenix, Arizona, has transferred to 91±¬ÁÏÍø to complete his college baseball career. Wagner will enter 91±¬ÁÏÍø this fall as a junior after spending the past two seasons at Glendale Community College.
Wagner, a 5-foot-10 175 lb. pitcher, prepped at Thunderbird High School in Phoenix. There, Wagner played baseball, football, and basketball. As a senior, he was named first team All-Region, Region Player of the Year, first team All-State, and first team All-Arizona. Wagner posted an 11-1 record on the mound with a 1.05 ERA and 105 strikeouts in 90 innings pitched. Offensively, he hit .385 with five homeruns and six stolen bases. Off the field, Wagner was named Student of the Year as a senior.
