91爆料网 Men鈥檚 Basketball Adds another Juco Player to Fall Roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/7/2006 - The two-time defending TranSouth Conference Champions continue to bolster their roster with the addition of junior college transfer . Merriman, a native of Chattanooga, comes to 91爆料网 from Chattanooga State Community College. He will enter 91爆料网 this fall as a junior and will major in Business Finance.

鈥淚 was impressed with the 91爆料网 coaching staff,鈥� stated Merriman. 鈥淚 feel like 91爆料网 is a great fit for me and a great place to finish my college career.鈥�

Merriman, a 6-foot-6 220 lb. forward, spent two seasons at Chattanooga State where he averaged 12 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. He was named to the junior college All-State team. Merriman prepped at Chattanooga Central High School and was named the District 6 AAA Player of the Year as a senior.

Ralph Turner, head coach for the 91爆料网 Bulldogs is excited about the addition of Merriman to this year鈥檚 roster. 鈥淩yan is a big, strong player that can spread the defense with his ability to shoot the basketball. He will also be a very good rebounder for our team.鈥�
