No. 6 91爆料网 Tops Bethel for 12th Straight Win

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/13/2007 - The 91爆料网 Lady Bulldogs came away with an 81-65 win over Bethel College (Tenn.) for their 12th straight victory. 91爆料网 improved to 21-4 overall and a league best 12-2 conference record. Bethel dropped to 13-11 on the season and 4-10 in the TranSouth.

91爆料网 started the game with an 18-0 run before Bethel stopped the drought with a free throw seven minutes into the game. 91爆料网 led 20-1 when Bethel tallied their first field goal of the game just inside the 11 minute mark of the first half. 91爆料网 led 38-17 at the half and led by as many as 31 points midway through the second half.

91爆料网 ranks No. 1 in the NAIA in field goal percentage at 51-percent, however, mananged just 30-percent in the first half. 91爆料网 recoved with 55-percent shooting in the second half to finish the game at 40-percent. 91爆料网 made 50-percent (7-14) from behind the arc and just 53-percent (14-26) from the free throw line.

91爆料网 was led by Natanya Smith with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Ena Daniels added 16 points, Josephine Owino scored 15 points, and Crystal Eason added 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from behind the arc.

Bethel was led by Nina Djokovic with 15 points. Amanda Cunningham and Suzanne Seat added 11 points each. Bethel shot 39-percent from the field, 36-percent (5-14) from three-point range, and 77-percent (10-13) from behind the free throw line.

Up next for 91爆料网 will be two road games. First is a trip to Blue Mountain College (Miss.) on Thursday night at 7:00 pm. 91爆料网 then travels down to Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.) on Saturday for a 2:00 pm game.
