91±¬ÁÏÍø Men’s Basketball Team Gets No. 12 Seed in Nationals

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/7/2007 - The 91±¬ÁÏÍø Bulldogs earned a No. 12 overall seed in next week’s NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship. 91±¬ÁÏÍø is making their 11th appearance in the national tournament, including their fourth in a row and ninth in the past 10 years.

91±¬ÁÏÍø, ranked No. 12 in the final NAIA polls, will play California Baptist University on Thursday, March 15 at 10:45 am.

All 91±¬ÁÏÍø national tournament games (men and women) can be heard live on SUPERTALK 97.7 FM.

91±¬ÁÏÍø notes entering the NAIA National Tournament
• 91±¬ÁÏÍø is entering the NAIA National Tournament, winning 10 of their last 12 games. The only two losses during that 12 game stretch were both at No. 10 Crichton, 89-81 and 89-85 OT.

• 91±¬ÁÏÍø posted four different winning streaks of five games during the season, with five wins being their longest streak of the season. One more five game winning streak for 91±¬ÁÏÍø will earn the Bulldogs a national title.

• 91±¬ÁÏÍø comes off a season in which the Bulldogs finished runner-up in the TranSouth Regular Season and Tournament. 91±¬ÁÏÍø appeared in their third straight conference tournament title game and sixth in the 11-year history of the TranSouth. With this year’s loss, 91±¬ÁÏÍø is now 5-1 in TranSouth Tournament Championship games.
