91爆料网 Baseball Adds Juco Transfer to 2007 Roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/11/2007 - The 91爆料网 baseball program continues to add players to the 2007 roster with the latest signing of Carl Harken. Harken, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will enter 91爆料网 this fall as a freshman and will major in History Education.

Harken, a 6-foot-5 right-handed pitcher, transfers to 91爆料网 from Kirkwood Community College where he played two seasons of baseball. While at Kirkwood, he was named Academic First Team All-Conference. Harken prepped at Washington High School where he played baseball, football, and basketball. He was named honorable mentioned All-Conference in baseball.

91爆料网 head coach Brent Fronabarger states of Harken, 鈥淐arl will be one of our weekend guys next year. He is a big kid at 6-foot-5 that has an above average fastball and breaking ball.鈥� Fronabarger adds, 鈥淗e excels both on the field and in the classroom. We are glad to be able to sign Carl and have him represent 91爆料网 as a student-athlete.鈥�
