91爆料网 Releases Schedules for the 2007 Fall Seasons

JACKSON, Tenn. - 7/31/2007 - The 91爆料网 athletic department has released 2007 fall sports schedules in each of the five fall sports. 91爆料网 fields teams in men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer, and volleyball during the fall. The first 91爆料网 sporting event of the 2007-08 school year is slated for August 21 when 91爆料网 host Christian Brothers University for a women鈥檚 soccer match.

These five sports look to continue the rich tradition of athletics at 91爆料网 in this new season and their record setting efforts of last fall. Fans can keep up with the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs with up-to-date schedules, results, and more on the 91爆料网 website (www.uu.edu/athletics), rated No. 1 for the second time in the NAIA鈥檚 Publication Contest.

Last season, the fall provided numerous milestones reached in each of the sports. All five teams advanced to at least the NAIA Region XI Tournament level with two teams representing 91爆料网 at the national level.

Women鈥檚 cross country won the TranSouth Conference for the fourth straight year. The team also won the NAIA Region XI Tournament for the first time in the programs young history. The team reached their highest ranking in history at No. 20.

The men鈥檚 cross country program, in just their sixth year of varsity competition, won the conference title for the third straight year and posted their highest finish of No. 2 in the region. The Bulldogs also matched their highest national ranking by receiving votes.

In just their second season of varsity competition, the Lady Bulldog soccer team posted their first winning season in both regular season and conference play. A third place finish in both the TranSouth regular season and tournament earned the team their first ever NAIA Region XI Tournament bid.

The men鈥檚 soccer team advanced to their third straight NAIA Region XI Tournament after posting third place finishes in both the TranSouth regular season and tournament. The team reached their highest NAIA ranking in program history at No. 9.

The volleyball team also posted third place finishes in both the TranSouth regular season and tournament. This helped earn their eighth region tournament bid in the nine-year history of the program. The volleyball team continued their streak of nine straight winnings seasons.
