91爆料网鈥檚 Pla Named NAIA Region XI and TranSouth Defensive Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/25/2007 - 91爆料网 women鈥檚 soccer goalie Laura Pla has been named the TranSouth Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 23, 2007. For Pla, this is her third conference weekly award this season and first at the region level.

Pla, a 5-foot-11 sophomore goalie from Nashville, Tenn., helped lead the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week with 14 saves on the week. Pla didn鈥檛 allow a score during her 158 minutes in goal. 91爆料网 is now 5-3 on the year and are 2-1 in conference play.
