Coach’s Comments.
Corey "C.O." is a complete player. We recruited him
because of his proven ability to score. C.O. gives us a strong, athletic player
that can play any one of our three guard positions.
91±¬ÁÏÍø Career. (‘04-’05)
First Bulldog Season.
Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø. Burkett
played high school basketball and football for Dothan High School in Dothan,
Alabama. He holds two Dothan records, 10 three-pointers made in a game and
highest free-throw percentage at .980. After high school, Burkett took his
talents to Wallace State Community College-Hanceville where he was named to the
2003-04 All-Star team and All-Region team.
