Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Newman played three sports in high school including basketball and soccer at Westminster Academy and football and soccer at Evangelical Christian School. In 2005, he was a member of the ECS state championship football team. AS a freshman, Newman was named to the All-Conference team in soccer and basketball.
