Averil comes to 91±¬ÁÏÍø as a transfer from Hannibal-LaGrange…as a freshman she averaged 13 points, 8 rebounds, and finished third in the NAIA in individual field goal percentage at 59 percent…she is very athletic and intelligent and will be a solid post defender with great rebounding skills that will help both offensively and defensively.

Jessica played her high school ball at Bradford where she averaged 21.6 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steal, and 5 assists per game…at Bradford, she earned numerous honors including MVP All-District, MVP All-Region, and All-State…was a vital part of the state championship teams in 1997, 1998, and 2000…named Miss Basketball of Tennessee, MVP of State Tournament, and All-West Tennessee.
