Coach’s Comments.
Stephanie’s presence here at 91±¬ÁÏÍø has been felt both on and off the court. She
is a great communicator/leader and does a good job of using her body in the post
and finishes strong at the basket. Stephanie has proven that she can be a
dominate player in the NAIA. She is a model student/athlete.
91±¬ÁÏÍø Career.
(‘03-’04)...played in 26 games after starting the season in
January...averaged a double-double with 21.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per
game...was named the TranSouth Conference Player of the Year, NAIA first team
All-American, and an NAIA All-National Tournament performer....led the nation in
field goal percentage (.624), rebounding (10.8), and was second in total
double-doubles (15).
Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø. Stephanie
averaged 25 minutes per game at Oral Roberts and led the team with 7.8 rebounds
per game and was second on the team in scoring with 11.7 points per game. She
shot 60% from the field and tallied 13 blocks on the season. She has accumulated
a grade point average of 3.6 during her time at Oral Roberts. Stephanie prepped
at Artesia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was named the New
Mexico 4-A Player of the Year as she averaged 19.7 points and 15.5 rebounds per
game. Stephanie was named to the Albuquerque Journal All-Area team, named
All-District three times, and was the Team MVP twice. She lettered in volleyball
and tennis, as well as, basketball.
