Previous School: Mombasa HS
Coach’s Comments: Beatrice is
overflowing with potential. She is also red-shirting this season as she learns
to adjust to American culture and academic life here at 91±¬ÁÏÍø. She is the
tallest Lady Bulldog in history but she also wants to be the best. She is
aggressive and eager to learn. She can run the floor and she competes. She will
be a force to be reckoned with throughout this year in practice and the next
four years to come. We all will enjoy watching all this unfold!
Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Duol played for Momboasa High School in Mombasa, Kenya. She scored 42 points in the South African High School Championship game in August. Awino led her high school, to the Secondary School Championships as a freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. She was a high school teammate of former 91±¬ÁÏÍø Lady Bulldog Josephine Owino.
