Laura is another one of the West Tennessee players who has been well-coached, used to winning, and loves the team. She is intelligent and is a great three point shooter. I love coaching a player like Laura who loves her teammates and expects her very best. Laura is always ready to give our team what we need.
Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Crittendon spent four years as a member of the basketball and softball teams at Westview High School. In basketball, she helped lead her team to a four-year record of 108-19. During her freshman season, Westview posted a runner-up finish in the state tournament, and then a quarterfinal appearance when Crittendon was a junior. During her career, Crittendon was named Mid-South Classic All-Tournament and Lions Club Christmas All-Tournament twice. For her efforts as a senior, she was named All-District 13AA, District 13AA All-Tournament, and Region 7AA All-Tournament. In her final two season at Westview, Crittendon averaged 12.1 points and 5.1 assists per game. She made a combined 156 three pointers as a junior and senior. During the same two seasons, Crittendon posted 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Her 92 three-pointers made as a junior broke a school record. She was an All-District and All-Tournament in District 13AA softball. In the classroom, Crittendon was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Who's Who Among American High School Students, and is ranked third in her graduation class.
