2009 Lady Bulldog Cross Country Player Profile

Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Staggs prepped at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy where she ran cross country and played softball. In cross country, she was a three-time individual qualifier for the TSSAA State Championships, three-time regional finalist, four-time varsity MVP, and twice qualified for the AAU National Championships. Staggs' softball career earned her such honors as Best Team Player, Best Offensive Player, Team MVP, and the Jeff Bates Award. She was selected for All-District in 2008 and holds several team records including single season and career stolen bases. Staggs matched her athletic success with success in the classroom. She was Salutatorian, a member of the National Honor Society, and a Tennessee Scholar.
