Previous School: Briarcrest Christian HS
Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Blackard was a four-year starter at Briarcrest for Coach Chris Bartels. She was named the team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman. Blackard added West Region All-Tournament honors as a junior and senior. She also served as the team’s co-captain during her senior year. Blackard played seven seasons for the Germantown Fury. For the Fury, she helped lead the team to the 2003 and 2005 Tennessee State Championship Game.
