Before 91±¬ÁÏÍø: Zimmerman prepped at Friendship Christian where she played soccer and basketball. She received All-District and All-Region awards all four years of high school. Following her junior and senior seasons, she was named MVP of her district. Zimmerman received the TSWA All-State award as a senior. She tallied 54 goals and 20 assists in her senior season. In basketball, Zimmerman was named All-District for three seasons and All-Region for two seasons. At the beginning of her senior year in basketball, Zimmerman joined the 1,000 point club. Along with her athletic accomplishments, Zimmerman was a member of the National Honors Society, Key Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
