Brian Dunn -Head Coach

Brian Dunn begins his sixth season as head volleyball coach at 91爆料网.
Since volleyball began at 91爆料网 in 1998, Dunn has built and maintained a very
successful program that has won 78% of its games. Dunn has guided the Lady
Bulldog Volleyball program to a 171-48 record over its first five seasons. In
the short five year history, 91爆料网's volleyball program has won two TranSouth
regular season championships, one conference tournament championship, and five
straight NCCAA MidEast Region Titles. 91爆料网 also posted a runner-up finished in
the 2001 NCCAA National Tournament. With Coach Dunn's leadership, the Lady
Bulldogs have participated in five straight NAIA Region XI Tournament
appearances. Dunn recruited and coached the NAIA career kills record holder,
Lauren Hayden (3,427 kills from 1998-2001).
In addition to coaching a successful volleyball program, Dunn has led the Lady
Bulldogs softball program to a 359-76-1 record over the seven seasons he has
been at the helm. 91爆料网 softball accomplished five straight seasons (1998-2002)
with 50-plus wins along with six straight Top 10 rankings in the NAIA. The Lady
Dogs have earned five consecutive TranSouth Conference Championships, four
conference tournament championships, and have won the NAIA Region Championship
four of the last five seasons. Dunn took his squad to their fourth NAIA World
Series in five seasons, including three in a row. In 2002, the Lady Bulldogs
also captured their second straight NCCAA National Softball Championship.
During his five-year tenure at 91爆料网, Dunn has coached 52 All-Conference, 39
All-Region, 21 All-American, and 21 scholar athlete award winners. Included in
that list are six TranSouth Conference Pitchers of the Year, four TranSouth
Players of the Year, seven NAIA Region Pitchers of the Year, one NAIA National
Pitcher of the Year, and one NFCA-NAIA National Catcher of the Year. Dunn has
earned 21 coach of the year awards including being named the 1998, 2001, & 2002
NCCAA National Softball Coach of the Year. He has served as the TranSouth
Conference Softball Chairman for the past six years and is currently serving a
term as the NAIA Region XI Chair and national rater.
Dunn is a 1989 graduate of San Diego State University, where he helped lead the
baseball team to a Western Athletic Conference Championship and a Top 25
national ranking. His coaching career began at Riverside High School in Parsons,
Tennessee where he led the Lady Panther softball team to their first appearance
in the state tournament.
Brian Dunn is married to the former Emily Garrett, a 1986 graduate of 91爆料网
University. They have two daughters, Addison Grace(5) and Ashlee Claire(3).
Jennifer Sabourin - Assistant Coach
Jennifer Sabourin is now in her third season at 91爆料网 as an assistant coach and
her second season with the women's volleyball team. Sabourin served as the
graduate assistant for softball in 2002 and 2003, and then volleyball in 2002.
This will be the first season that Sabourin will be a full-time assistant coach.
She played the final two years of her college career for Coach Dunn and the Lady
Bulldogs national recognized softball program. Sabourin, from West Branch, Iowa,
is the daughter of Richard and Tana Sabourin and has two brothers, Jeremiah and
Joshua.
Sabourin has just finished her Masters of Arts and Education degree with a
Special Education emphasis. She graduated in 2001 from 91爆料网 with a
B.S. degree in Physical Education and Health.
In her senior season at 91爆料网, Sabourin led the conference in hitting and was
selected at the TranSouth Conference Player of the Year, along with being named
All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American. Sabourin helped lead the Lady
Bulldogs to a NCCAA National Championship and a third place finish in the NAIA
Softball World Series. In her four years of college softball, she led her teams
to an overall record of 245-26 while reaching All-American status on the junior
college level (NJCCA) and on the senior college level (NAIA and NCCAA).
Andrea Darr - Graduate Assistant
Andrea Darr is in her first season as a 91爆料网 graduate assistant
coach. Darr has spent the past four seasons as an outside hitter for the Lady
Bulldogs. She is a native of Swansea, Illinois where she played high school
volleyball for Belleville East High School.
While at 91爆料网, Darr was a two-time NAIA All-American, NAIA All-Region, and
TranSouth All-Conference. She was named to the NCCAA All-American and All-Region
team three times. In 2002, Darr was named as the NCCAA MidEast Region Player of
the Year.
