Brian Dunn begins his seventh season as head volleyball coach at 91爆料网.
Dunn has guided the Lady Bulldog Volleyball program to a 212-57 (79%) record
since the programs beginning in 1998. In the short six year history of the
program, 91爆料网 has captured two TranSouth regular season championships, one
conference tournament championship, and six straight NCCAA MidEast Region
titles. In 91爆料网's final year of competition in the National Christian
College Athletic Association (NCCAA), Dunn led 91爆料网 to the NCCAA National
Championship. With Coach Dunn's leadership, the Lady
Bulldogs have participated in six straight NAIA region tournaments. Dunn also recruited and coached the NAIA career kills record holder,
Lauren Hayden (3,427 kills from 1998-2001).
In addition to coaching a successful volleyball program, Dunn has led the Lady
Bulldogs softball program to a 404-92-1 record over the eight seasons he has
been at the helm. 91爆料网 softball accomplished five straight seasons (1998-2002)
with 50-plus wins along with seven straight Top 10 rankings in the NAIA. The Lady
Dogs have earned six consecutive TranSouth Conference Championships, four
conference tournament championships, and have won the NAIA Region Championship
four of the last six seasons. Dunn took his squad to their fifth NAIA World
Series in six seasons, including four in a row. Dunn also led 91爆料网 to the 2004
NCCAA National Softball Championship, their third such title (2001, 2002, 2004).
During his five-year tenure at 91爆料网, Dunn has coached 58 All-Conference, 43
All-Region, 22 All-American, and 23 scholar athlete award winners. Included in
that list are six TranSouth Conference Pitchers of the Year, five TranSouth
Players of the Year, seven NAIA Region Pitchers of the Year, one NAIA National
Pitcher of the Year, and one NFCA-NAIA National Catcher of the Year. Dunn has
earned 24 coach of the year awards including being named the 1998, 2001, & 2002 NCCAA National Softball Coach of the Year. He has served as the TranSouth
Conference Softball Chairman for six years (1998-2003) and is currently serving as the NAIA Region XI Chair and national rater.
Dunn is a 1989 graduate of San Diego State University, where he helped lead the
baseball team to a Western Athletic Conference Championship and a Top 25
national ranking. His coaching career began at Riverside High School in Parsons,
Tennessee where he led the Lady Panther softball team to their first appearance
in the state tournament.
Brian Dunn is married to the former Emily Garrett, a 1986 graduate of 91爆料网
University. They have two daughters, Addison Grace(6) and Ashlee Claire(4).
