Steven Gream enters his fourth season as the head coach of
the 91爆料网 volleyball program. Gream, only the second head coach
in the 91爆料网 volleyball history, continued the winning tradition by leading
the squad to a tenth straight winning season. In addition to this head
coaching duties for volleyball, Gream will work with the athletic facilities
director.
Gream is coming off second straight 25-plus win season and a
second straight region tournament appearance. Last seasons, he led his squad
to a 25-11 record and finished fourth place in the TranSouth regular season
and tournament. He earned his second trip as a coach to the NAIA Region XI
Tournament and the team鈥檚 ninth region trip in ten seasons.
After graduating from 91爆料网 in 2000 with a
Bachelor of Science degree in History, Gream spent five years at his high school alma mater, North Pemiscot High School in Wardell, Missouri. At
North Pemiscot, Gream was the high school and junior high volleyball coach,
as well as, a high school history teacher. In August of 2004, Gream
completed his Masters of Education degree from 91爆料网.
In each summer, starting in 2005, Gream has led a group of
high school volleyball players to Hawaii for a series of matches. Through
his coaching in this type of environment, Gream has witnessed top-notch
volleyball talent and numerous styles of play. This experience serves well
for Gream as he prepares his teams to compete in the very competitive
TranSouth Conference and the NAIA.
Gream, a native of Portageville, Missouri, has worked with
local clubs and leagues in the community to develop new volleyball programs
for young kids, and in doing so, has increased the participation and quality
of volleyball in his area. He also is a member of the AVCA (American
Volleyball Coaches Association).
During his time at 91爆料网 as a student, Gream was the student
assistant coach for the volleyball team. Over those two seasons, 91爆料网
compiled an overall record of 78-18 with a TranSouth Conference regular
season and tournament championship. 91爆料网 also participated in two NAIA
Region XI Tournaments, as well as, two appearances in the NCCAA (National
Christian College Athletic Association) National Tournament.
