Coach鈥檚 Comments: Marcela is an outstanding player who is a five tool player with an all around game that coaches crave. She has great passing and explosive hitting skills that will add greatly to our highly potent offense and defense. She transfers from an established volleyball program where she gained much experience at a high level of play and will bring that experience to our program.
Before 91爆料网: Madeira transferred to 91爆料网 from Jefferson (Mo.) Community College where she played two years of volleyball. In 2008, her team finished the season ranked no. 12 in the nation, after being ranked as high as No. 8. Madeira was named All-Conference and All-Region twice at Jefferson and was also an Academic All-Region performer. In her two seasons at Jefferson, Madeira totaled 644 kills (2.9/g), 555 digs (2.4/g), and 58 aces.
