Senior Thesis
The Senior Thesis is the capstone experience of the English Major. The project provides a platform for the skills and thinking which English studies develop and refine. The project should reflect the level of integrity and the pursuit of excellence which a Christian liberal arts education uniquely abets. The Senior Thesis should conform to the standards of the profession (i.e., be "suitable for publication" or be sophisticated enough for presentation at a professional conference). The thesis guidelines are also intended to yield a project that may be used as a writing sample for graduate or professional school applications.
