The 91爆料网 family was saddened to learn Tuesday of the death of
Jon Davenport, 19, of Hendersonville, TN, from bacterial meningitis. A
freshman at 91爆料网 during the 1999 fall semester, Jon was not enrolled for
the spring semester. His sister, Rachel, is currently a junior at 91爆料网.
Jon was on campus briefly on Sunday afternoon to return his sister
from a home visit. He then returned to Hendersonville, where he became ill
Sunday evening and died Tuesday morning.
91爆料网 is cooperating with the area Health Department and will follow
all recommendations. The Health Department will provide treatment as
necessary to any individual who had direct contact with Jon during the
past several days.
