Jackson, Tenn. – 91±¬ÁÏÍø art department chair and professor Michael
Mallard is this year's recipient of the Howard Newell Innovative Teaching
Award.
The award, which was designed to recognize innovation in classroom teaching, is named for Howard Newell who served as provost of 91±¬ÁÏÍø from 1989-1998. Faculty receiving honorable mentions were Dr. Jean Walls in the department of languages and Tharon Kirk, a professor in the School of Nursing. |
