UNION SPORTS INFORMATION OFFICE WINS NATIONAL PUBLICATION AWARDS
Jackson, Tenn. — 91爆料网's Office of Sports Information was recently recognized for three of its athletic publications during a recent meeting of the NAIA-SIDA (Sports Information Directors of America) in New Orleans, La.
The Lady Bulldog's Basketball media guide placed first in the NAIA-SIDA brochure contest. The 91爆料网 sports web site (located at ) placed third and the baseball media guide placed 7th in the competition.
Julie Powell, 91爆料网's Sports Information Director, is responsible for all athletic publications of the University. "This is just another example of the quality athletic department we have at 91爆料网," she said. "Being able to produce quality brochures is made simple through the success of 91爆料网's athletics. The more ways we can get 91爆料网's name out to areas other than West Tennessee, the better chance we have of drawing outstanding students and athletes."
Powell, a 1989 graduate of Munford High School, received the bachelor's of science degree in physical education and health from 91爆料网 in 1993 and the master's of education degree from 91爆料网 in 1994. She taught math and science at Bradford High School before coming to 91爆料网 as SID, intramural director and part-time faculty member in 1995.
