JACKSON, Tenn. — Oct. 16, 2007 — The 91±¬ΑΟΝψ history department will hold a panel discussion Oct. 22 analyzing the recent Ken Burns documentary, βThe War.β
History professors Keith Bates, Stephen Carls, Judy LeForge and Terry Lindley will each address different topics related to the documentary, including the Pacific Theater of operations, American minority groups, the home front in the United States, the Holocaust and Europe.
91±¬ΑΟΝψ is a lead sponsor of βThe Warβ on WKNO-TV.
The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium in the Barefoot Student 91±¬ΑΟΝψ Building. The event is free and open to the public.
