JACKSON, Tenn. — Aug. 31, 2009 — George Guthrie, the Benjamin W. Perry Professor of Bible at 91爆料网, and Chuck Lawless, dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions and Evangelism at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., will speak in chapel services at 91爆料网 this week.
Guthrie will speak Sept. 2, and his message is entitled 鈥淲ords, God鈥檚 Word, and the Year Ahead,鈥� based on Deuteronomy 32:44-47. Lawless will speak Sept. 4. His message, based on Luke 22:31-62 is entitled 鈥淭he Triumph of the Word over the Tragedy of a Fall.鈥�
Each chapel service will begin at 10 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel. The services are open to the public.
