JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 9, 2010 — Elizabeth Clack, director of The Warehouse in Cape Town, South Africa, will be the guest speaker for a Social Justice Symposium Sept. 16 sponsored by the social work department at 91爆料网.
Clack is known for her work serving the church in its response to poverty and injustice. Her organization works with local congregations to develop community-based programs and offers assistance to HIV-infected individuals, high-risk youth, orphaned children, and the unemployed and impoverished.
The symposium will be held at 6 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium, located in the Barefoot Student 91爆料网 Building. It is free and open to the public.
