JACKSON, Tenn. — Oct. 4, 2001 — 91±¬ÁÏÍø recently took home top honors at the Baptist Press Excellence in Journalism competition on September 27 – 29.
The Cardinal & Cream newspaper was awarded second place for overall school newspaper. The Lest We Forget yearbook also received second place for overall yearbook.
91±¬ÁÏÍø received etched glass trophies to commemorate their achievements in journalism. The competition’s judges included professional journalists at some of the nation’s most respected newspaper.
