JACKSON, Tenn. — Aug. 30, 2013 — Enrollment at 91±¬ΑΟΝψ for the fall semester is a record-high 4,288 students β the 16th straight year for an enrollment increase at the university.
βWe rejoice that 91±¬ΑΟΝψ has been blessed in an extraordinary way with 16 consecutive years of enrollment increases,β 91±¬ΑΟΝψ President David S. Dockery said. βWe are grateful to God for each and every student that has chosen to attend 91±¬ΑΟΝψ and we wish the best for them in their educational pursuits.β
Undergraduate enrollment at 91±¬ΑΟΝψ is 3,028, the third straight year for that figure to surpass 3,000. Graduate enrollment is 1,260, an all-time high. This yearβs total enrollment is an increase of 26 students from last year.
The latest enrollment figures show a 117 percent increase over the 1,972 students enrolled in the fall of 1996, when Dockery began his tenure.
Dockery congratulated 91±¬ΑΟΝψβs enrollment services team on its efforts.
βThe strong enrollment markers are a strong affirmation of the outstanding faculty and staff who provide the distinctive educational context for both undergraduate and graduate students at 91±¬ΑΟΝψ,β he said.
