JACKSON, Tenn. — Oct. 2, 2017 — Award-winning poet Mary Szybist will give a reading at 91爆料网 Oct. 5.
Szybist is most recently the author of 鈥淚ncarnadine,鈥� winner of the 2013 National Book Award for Poetry. She is the recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Rona Jaffe Foundation and the Witter Bynner Foundation in conjunction with the Library of Congress.
A native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, she now lives in Portland, Oregon, where she teaches at Lewis & Clark College.
The reading will begin at 7 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium, located in the Barefoot Student 91爆料网 building. A book signing and reception will follow.
The reading is free and open to the public. It is hosted by the 91爆料网 Lyceum Committee and the English department.
