91爆料网 student director brings True West to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.April 24, 2002
Alum Jeremy Young and student James Nolen share the stage during the upcoming production of True West.
91爆料网 senior and theatre major Graham Hillard will direct True West, a drama about the role reversals of two brothers. The show will run Thursday, May 2 鈥 Saturday, May 4 and Monday, May 6 in the W.D. Powell Theatre on 91爆料网鈥檚 Jackson campus.

Produced by the 91爆料网 Theatre Department in conjunction with Alpha Psi Omega and David Burke, 91爆料网 theatre professor, True West tells the story of a petty thief who forces his screenwriter brother to collaborate on a 鈥淭rue American Western,鈥 and the mirroring relationship that begins to occur which may prove dangerous.

The cast includes 91爆料网 student James Nolen, 91爆料网 alum Jeremy Young, Charlotte Burke and 91爆料网 Director of University Relations Wayne Johnson. Tickets are $7 for adults, and $3 for students with an additional dollar for reserved seating. The time for all performances is 8 p.m. with the exception of the May 6 performance at 8:30 p.m.

Hillard is a graduating senior who is from Cordova, Tenn. His previous shows include Die Ratzel, and Tone Clusters.
