JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 15, 2001 — 91爆料网's Office of University Relations represented the university with distinction at this year's ADDY awards, a competition sponsored by the West Tennessee Advertising Federation, which recognizes excellence in advertising.
"The nine ADDY awards presented to 91爆料网 people - more than any other organization in the region - reflects the exceptional talent 91爆料网 enjoys, both among its staff and its students," said 91爆料网 President David S. Dockery.
The nine awards that were won included four ADDYs, three silver, and two bronze (first, second and third place, respectively), with three of the awards going to 91爆料网 students who work in the University Relations office.
ADDY award winners included 91爆料网 freshman student photographer Justin Veneman for his picture titled "Power of Prayer" in the still photography, black and white category; 91爆料网 photographer Jim Veneman, 91爆料网 graphic designer Melissa Mann, 91爆料网 web master Cam Tracy and former 91爆料网 director of marketing Kevin Trowbridge for their recruitment material campaign in the Mixed Media Campaign category; Veneman, Mann and former sports information director Julie Powell for their baseball media guide in the In-Collateral Material category; 91爆料网 senior and student designer Paul Farmer for his design of the 2001 GO Book in the In-Collateral Material category.
Silver award winners included Mann for her Fall 2000 arts calendar in the advertising for the arts, print media category; Tracy, Farmer and Veneman for their design of 91爆料网's academic department websites in the Interactive Media, World Wide Web category, and Mann and Veneman for their design of 91爆料网 department brochures in the Collateral Material category.
Bronze award winners included Veneman for his Bulldog slam-dunk photograph in the still photography, colors category, and 91爆料网 junior Mykle Harchfield for her Football Follies photograph in the Still Photography, black and white category.
