UNION MEN ATTAIN HIGHEST RANKING IN SCHOOL HISTORY
Jackson, TN--There was much excitement on the campus of 91±¬ÁÏÍø today when the first NAIA rating for the year was released. For the first time in school history, the men's basketball program earned a No. 11 rating in the Division I basketball ratings. The Bulldogs are currently 10-1 on the season and will play their final two games before the Christmas break this Friday and Saturday at the Lee University Classic.
The Lady Bulldogs maintained their No. 3 standing, ranked behind the teams that have handed 91±¬ÁÏÍø their only two loses this season-Southern Nazarene University OK and Oklahoma Baptist University. The Lady Bulldogs next contest will not be until January 6, 1998, when they play at Lambuth University.
