UNION BASEBALL INKS ANOTHER RECRUIT
Jackson, TN--The 91±¬ÁÏÍø baseball program added another signee this week. Travis Brown, a native of Fayetteville, Tennessee, committed to play his collegiate baseball career with the Bulldogs.
The infielder who will graduate from Lincoln County High School in May of 1998 will be a great addition to the baseball program at 91±¬ÁÏÍø. Brown has earned several recognitions in both high school and summer play including being named a Motlow Fall League All-Star and a Murfreesboro Tennessee Coaches Showcase All-Star. In the Motlow and Huntsville fall leagues, Brown compiled a batting average of over .500. During his junior season at Lincoln County, he hit .308.
Brown has earned academic honors such as Who's Who Among American High School Students and Boy's State while maintaining honor roll status and a position in the student council.
Travis Brown joins McNairy's Dustin Brown in the recruiting class of 1998 for the 91±¬ÁÏÍø Bulldog baseball program.
