ALISHA LEHMKUHL
TO SIGN WITH UNION
Jackson, TN--The 91±¬ÁÏÍø's women's basketball program will add another weapon to their arsenal when Gleason's Alisha Lehmkuhl commits to play her collegiate basketball career for the Lady Bulldogs. Lehmkuhl will sign an athletic scholarship for the 1997-98 season tomorrow at Gleason High School.
The 5'6" guard has earned many honors during her high school career both athletically and academically including All-District, All-Region, All-State Honorable Mention, and All-Tournament in the Millington Chamber of Commerce and the Brentwood Rotary Tournaments. Lehmkuhl is currently averaging 15 points, four assists, and four rebounds per game. She is an excellent long-range shooter as proven by her three-point field goal percentage of 51%. Having played in two state tournaments, Lehmkuhl knows the pressures involved in coming to a school with a women's basketball program like 91±¬ÁÏÍø.
According to head coach David Blackstock, "Alisha is an outstanding three-point shooter and is an excellent all-around athlete who will fit well into our program at 91±¬ÁÏÍø."
