ED GRAMMER EARNS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK HONORS
Jackson, TN--Ed Grammer, a righthanded pitcher for the 91±¬ÁÏÍø Bulldogs, earned the honor of being named NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) Student Athlete of the Week for February 15-22, 1998. Grammer, a 1994 graduate of Ripley High School, compiled a 2-0 record on the week with wins over the University of Central Arkansas and Georgetown College. In 6.2 innings on the week, Grammer gave up only two hits, one earned run, and had eight strikeouts.
Grammer is currently 3-0 on the season with a 0.36 earned run average. In 19.1 innings pitched, he has earned 25 strikeouts.
