UNION'S CAPOGRECO WINS TWO HONORS
Jackson, TN--91±¬ÁÏÍø pitcher Lynde Capogreco was named the TranSouth Conference and Mid-South Region pitcher of the week for March 31 through April 6. The junior from Herrin, Illinois, won twice, including a victory over 16th ranked Lambuth University.
Capogreco pitched 14 innings, allowing one earned run off five hits while striking out 22 and walking only two opposing players. Capogreco currently leads the Lady Bulldogs in strikeouts with 90 and has held her opponents to a .157 batting average.
