Jackson,TN--The 91±¬ÁÏÍø baseball program signed its sixth recruit for the 1999 season. Jackson State's Alan Eubanks signed today with the Bulldogs at 10:00 a.m. on the campus of 91±¬ÁÏÍø.
Eubanks, a 1996 graduate of Huntingdon High School, is presently playing centerfield for the Generals at Jackson State. Currently on the season, Eubanks is hitting .320 with five homeruns and 27 runs batted in. He leads the Generals with 51 runs, 13 doubles and 18 stolen bases. Eubanks helped guide Jackson State to a Western Division Championship in 1997 and was named All-District in both his junior and senior seasons at Huntingdon.
Eubanks joins two other signees from Jackson State, Seth Bennett and Josh Carter, along with McNairy's Dustin Brown, Lincoln County's Travis Brown, South Side's Jeff Wyatt, and Jackson Christian's Nathan Nash.
