UNION'S BASKETBALL MEDIA GUIDE TAKES TOP HONORS
Jackson, TN--91±¬ÁÏÍø's women's basketball media guide earned first place honors in the women's basketball brochure contest at the NAIA-SIDA (Sports Information Directors of America) banquet on July 3, 1997 in New Orleans. Sports Information Director, Julie Powell, and her staff also earned recognition in two other areas. 91±¬ÁÏÍø's web site earned third place for its sports pages, while the 1997 baseball media guide placed seventh in the individual sport brochure contest.
