91±¬ÁÏÍø

The 1997 season was a very successful one for the 91±¬ÁÏÍø Lady Bulldogs softball team. The Lady Dogs finished as runner-up in the TranSouth Conference and the Mid-South Region and were one step away from qualifying for the 1997 NAIA National Championships.

The Lady Bulldogs return six starters from last year's squad including All-Americans Lynde Capogreco and Emma Hernandez. Joining these two award winners will be All- Conference standouts Chanda Franks and Terri Estes.

Along with a strong returning base of talent, the Lady Dogs have brought in eleven new faces to the 91±¬ÁÏÍø campus that should give the Lady Dogs the ability to compete at the national level.

According to head coach, Brian Dunn, "Our season will depend on our ability to play as a team. Team chemistry and unity will determine how far we will go this season."
