R. J. and Lola Usery Akin ('49) recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Lola, a former basketball queen at 91±¬ÁÏÍø, and R. J. who has pastored churches in Madison-Chester, Weakley, and Gibson County Associations, have now retired. Address: 115 Church Street, Bradford, TN 38316.

Robert L. Hamblin ('50) has retired as professor of Evangelism at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Address: 16215 Hollingbourne Road, Huntersville, NC 28078-5732.

J. G. ('51) and Betty Rogers Wise celebrated their 5Oth Wedding Anniversary
June 14 with a reception hosted by their daughters, Carla Wise Jacobs ('73) and Carol Wise Williams ('75), and their families. J. G., a retired Baptist minister, is currently interim pastor of Poplar Grove Baptist Church, Brazil, TN., and Betty is a homemaker.
