Williams Elected Alumni PresidentGary N. Williams, ‘71, serves as president of the 91±¬ÁÏÍø University National Alumni Association. He is executive director of the Madison/Chester Association of Baptists in Jackson, Tenn. He is married to Dale Moore Williams, ‘71, and has a daughter, Paige. Williams leads a team of alumni board officers including Gary Grisham, ‘75, president-elect, and Beverly Vowell Grant, ‘78, vice president. Grisham, executive vice president and senior loan officer at 91±¬ÁÏÍø Planters Bank in Jackson, is married to Susan Pittman Grisham, ‘75. They have one daughter, Mallory. Grant is the owner of Organizit! and resides with her husband, Tom, in Mt. Juliet. New members appointed to the Alumni Board, with a term expiring in 2000, include Larry Ray, ‘64, Belden, Miss.; Tracye Groh, ‘86, Memphis, Tenn.; Steve Maroney, ‘87, Humboldt, Tenn.; Chris Allison, ‘92, Jackson, Tenn.; and Mark Patey, ‘84, Jackson, Tenn. |
